This Privacy Policy explains how Marcelo Galvão (Catrapus Trade) (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use MyQuiz App, a Meta Quest application and the associated web site.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact information: Contact information voluntarily provided by users, such as name, email address, phone number, company name, or other information submitted through quizzes, registration forms, or support requests.
• Quiz participation and app usage data: such as quizzes joined, answers submitted, scores, rankings, completion status, participation history, preferences, settings, and interactions within the app.
• Device and technical data: such as device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, and approximate region.
• Meta platform data: such as Meta User ID, Meta display name, and other information made available through the Meta Quest platform APIs, when required for authentication, participation in quizzes, score tracking, or app functionality.
• Support communications: information you provide when contacting us for help.
• Website analytics data: information collected through Google Analytics, such as page views, navigation events, browser type, device type, and approximate region, when consent is provided.
• Content moderation and abuse reports: information provided when users report quizzes or other content, including the reported quiz identifier, reason for the report, optional comments, and information necessary to investigate and respond to the report.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless it is strictly necessary for a feature you choose to use and you provide it voluntarily.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate the app;
• Allow users to participate in quizzes and competitions;
• Provide quiz results, rankings, and participation history;
• Enable quiz creators and organizers to administer quizzes and review participation data where disclosed as part of the quiz experience;
• Save progress, scores, preferences, and settings;
• Improve app performance, stability, and user experience;
• Fix bugs and respond to support requests;
• Comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Brazil, or other regions with data protection laws, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

The Meta Quest application itself does not use browser cookies.

Our website uses essential cookies to maintain user sessions, store language preferences, and ensure proper operation of the service.

We also collect application analytics data, such as quiz start events, quiz completion events, feature usage statistics, and technical diagnostics, to improve service quality and reliability.

Optional analytics cookies and tracking technologies are activated only after the user provides consent where required by applicable law.

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or behavioral advertising tracking technologies.

• Quiz organizers or content creators, when you voluntarily participate in a quiz that discloses such sharing as part of the quiz experience, including scores, answers, contact information, or other information requested as part of the quiz experience;

• Meta, when required for Meta Quest platform functionality;
• Authorities or third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security;
• Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics, when analytics cookies have been accepted by the user;

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. When required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect personal data transferred internationally, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized mechanisms.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months.

8. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at admin@catrapus.trade.

Deletion requests may result in the removal of quiz history, scores, participation records, and associated account information.

You may also withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time by clearing your browser cookies and selecting a different preference when visiting the website again.

We will respond to deletion requests in accordance with applicable laws, including GDPR and LGPD, unless retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business needs.

MyQuiz App is intended for users who meet the applicable age requirements of the Meta Quest platform and local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable legal age without appropriate consent.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
